The bonus round: when we’ve got an hour left

Most weeks this happens at the end of a booking though do feel free to book your whole time for such jobs. The admin’s done, the errands are back under control, and the kitchen cupboard that avalanches every time you reach for a tin is driving you round the bend. I'll roll my sleeves up, grab a bin bag and we dive in.

The types of things we can get through:

  • Kitchen, bedroom, garage, loft – any space you’ve been avoiding

  • Ruthless but kind sorting: keep, donate, sell, recycle, bin

  • Bags to the charity shop, listings on Marketplace, tip runs – all done

  • Simple systems so it stays sorted (labels, boxes, the odd “no junk” sign)

  • Light cleaning as we go – wiping shelves, hoovering corners, leaving it fresh

  • Pre-move packing or post-move unpacking if you’re shifting house

  • One cupboard or one whole house – whatever you can face today

No more procrastinating and a lot less stuff by teatime.

What Clients Say

Stuart, Holt

"Polly makes possible the things I can’t do: using the computer, using an iPhone, managing shopping - not just food, but everyday items and gifts - even clearing cupboards. She helps me work and does research so I’m still able to write, pays bills, orders repeat meds. All the complex, difficult stuff. Polly does everything I need on the computer and much more as required, including physical shopping. She’s always good for a chat - a very good listener and entertaining talker. Polly is a companion who brightens life."
